    I would agree, I never had good luck with the Graphtec. It would only find the registration marks if we turned all the lights off in the shop.... then it was even hit or miss.

    I would say go for it. But please stay on the cheap side before you jump in with both feet. If you are not looking to be a ka-billionaire and just want to expand your business a bit, do it. Just be realistic. I can't give you any options on what machines to buy, as I don't do any screening...

    I read of one way to use 3rd party inks but it involved adding white space to the end of a print job and to cancel the print when it hits the white space, they said it will not update the profiler of the ink used if you cancel the print before it finishes.     We have two that work fine...... maybe we got lucky. They are temperamental machines, but ours just keep printing and printing, maybe they are too dumb to die.

    I know it's not what you are asking for, but this is what we use. (3100 Model) Fletcher Cutter Not cheap, but worth EVERY penny. Something to think about for the future. Maybe you can find one used.
