My .02 is that you'd be better served using a thicker piece of acrylic and milling the material to make your push thru. That way, there's no gluing, taping, etc. Adhering two different types of plastic together is inviting material failure. Again, my .02.

If you had the proper (i.e., glass cutting) attachment- assuming your table can use other tools besides the spindle for cutting- it's easily doable.

Printing really is the best thing you can offer the DIY'er (and even then, you're liable to get an "I need another one" request blaming you because they couldn't follow directions). If you don't have print capability in house, Ms. Olson's suggestion is the next best solution.

Opaque white isn't really opaque when there's a light source (the sun) behind it. Unless the graphic is really dark/saturated, light will come through. Like others have said- reverse print on clear, standard print on white (I'd use translucent, but- either way- make sure the adhesive is clear)...

Ummm... I'm not 100% certain of this, but isn't Coroplast and its knockoffs one of the plastics you shouldn't be cutting with a laser due to the gasses it creates?
