My VW program updated to 5.2.2 is working fine...
(other than not having the needed profiles)
I am printing as we speak using Generic Vinyl 1 profile...
I installed DGA Versaworks Media Profiles for SP-540v and SP-300v from Rolands website...
I tried to install... "SP540EcoM_ESM-GCVP.rml" and...
I am not sure what you mean by "inkset" and "configuration" but I use ecosol max ink...
What I have been using most every day over the years for reg vinyl and banners are...
LBV : Light Weight Banner Vinyl (ESM) and GCVP : Glossy Calendered Vinyl (ESM)
And a couple others for premium cast vinyl...

The problem here is that I do not understand profiles and their file types...
I do not understand .icc vs .rml etc...
I can see .icc profiles in the folder "Roland versaworks" in my "programs" folder...
I do not know how to get the profiles into versaworks...is...
I have a SP 540-V and use versaworks...
I upgraded versaworks from 2.2.2 to 5.2 (yes I went to 3.0 1st) and now all of my profiles are gone except for some generic ones that I do not use...
I do not know how to import profiles but I am guessing I do it thru Media Explorer...???

I have a Roland SP-540V as well as an old Anagraph E-60 plotter...
For years I bought Roland 45* blades and used them in both machines...
Something must have changed because for quite a while now the blades no longer fit in my Anagraph...

Well...I didn't report what happened because I wanted to make sure that the news stayed good :)
It has been a week since my printer refused to do anything except give Scan Motor errors and I took the scan motor apart and cleaned it...
When I did that it started printing as tho nothing had ever...
Yesterday I tore all the covers off and really spent some time cleaning, lubing, adjusting etc...
Especially concentrated on the cutting carriage and making sure that it glided nicely...
Removed it and cleaned the steel "block" that actually rides on the bar...it was pretty gummed up...
