You probably installed them too fast. Sometimes if there's a flat surface install and it goes fast, they either get it in their heads that they could have done it...or they think, WHA...I'm paying that for just a half hours work?

Why not make a tiered scale of Installer levels with correlating pay grades. Installer class Pro rarely makes mistakes, is awesome quality and speed and can train others. $50 per hour. (they can knock out a van in one work day by themselves...well worth their $400 day) Is also Certified...

I didn't like the switch from X7 to X8. I can't use the custom workspace I normally do when I import it. The icons and such are way different and take a lot longer to adjust to I'm finding. X5 - X7 worked just fine for me.

Did they say this on the phone or in an email? If in email...there's your written permission. If on phone, get them to email you the link and state that it is permissible.
