We also get to use those online juggernauts to help us sell products we otherwise couldn't even offer. I'm willing to bet none of you have the machines that can throw UV coating on 16pt card stock like 4Over does...but you can offer them to your clients as a convenient add on while their there...
A couple thoughts.
Put most of your marketing funds into optimizing your web presence. People aren't thumbing through the yellow pages these days.
Wrap one or more of your vehicles and use them as mobile billboard.
Connect with businesses that do business with a lot of other businesses.
Make...
I'm aware of the cert/warranty issues.
However I think you missed the point by listing the other 3M lams as they don't have the life expectancy the Envision does which was the entire point of using it & this thread.
I don't warranty wraps that long anyway, but I'd like to know I'm using the...
I'm sure both manufacturers would say it's a no-no but,
What are the downsides to laminated Avery 1105 Vinyl with 3M Envision Laminate? I'm trying to get the longest length product and 3M's Envision has it...but I prefer the adhesive of Avery.

That is exactly what you are seeing. I can't say if it is due to different batches or different models 1005 vs 1105 because both are true in this case.
So you don't have to be licensed as a "MANUFACTURER" but you DO have to be licensed as a "DEALER" but only if you are in the "BUSINESS OF" camouflaging or engraving...
Looks like you can do your own all day long as a hobby with no licensing whatsoever.
Market Price VS. Market Value:
My question is ...are you going to price your product down for the customer with the difference in what you are saving on materials so you can be the lowest price seller or are you going to pocket all that difference?
Reason I ask is if you do the former...you...
Not trying to be rude, but maybe you meant to post this in a different thread as it is not related to this one that I can see.
This one is about the monetary value of quality wrap installers.
Your list is about pricing wraps and educating clients.
Just sayin.
I agree and typically employ that practice.
However I did not have a choice on this job.
As for expecting them to be the same...a little variance is one thing with slight white points effecting the color. But the ink banding on one vs no banding on the other is completely different. That's the...
