Yes. There are special techniques for wrapping with chrome. No, you aren't likely to learn how to do it by reading in here. I suggest watching videos, practicing on curves, or taking a hands-on advanced wrapping class that incorporates chrome wrapping. "Never Stop Learning" (wink wink)

No I use Imagers Supply in Louisville. The vid process is what I was referring to...and when the cut head separates from the print carriage, it moves an inch to the left and BAM! That's when it beeps in the error code 0102. So i'm not able to follow the process past that step which is what made...

Came in this morning and not sure how long my heads were un-docked but it was beeping with "service call 0103". After turning it on and off etc...it does the same thing every time. It starts up, un-docks and moves slightly to the left then stops and beeps with that error code. Support being 2...

I'm assuming you're using V3. Go back to V1 and you won't have that problem.

Sounds like "your customer" is going to the wrong place for their specialized custom van wrap. I usually don't advocate practicing on customers vehicles.

thanks guys...and Yes...this was a consideration for a 900 sq.ft. wall mural so I wanted to print faster and considered calendered. I just think I'll go with Phototex so I don't have to even laminate or worry about drying time etc.

Will printing on matte vinyl then laminating with gloss laminate cause any issues (...like, laminate not adhering to printed matte vinyl) Specifically 3M Print Film 40C-20 matte vinyl with any lam.
