  4. Tired of incompetence...................................................................

Twice this week, had jobs come in provided by the customer and one was the graphics department. One was wrong punctuation and the other one left 2 words out, but in both cases, they were quoted on finished artwork. I was told to move forward. Luckily, I saw the punctuation problem and was...
  5. S80600 blotchy ink spots

Make a box, in an altogether new file. Write the exact same color measurements into the box, print it using the same profile. See if perhaps that file is corrupted.

Like they said, pictures would help.

  8. Omegabond go on a diet?

They're already about .007. Next, they'll just be paining on epoxy.
  9. Custom Large Murals

Well, I certainly wasn't here, jabbering about nothing.
  10. Dealing with "incorporated"

The people who use, LLC, Corp., INC. and so forth are just trying to show off they spent the extra money to do this and wanna get their money's worth. There are many ways to get it on there and hopefully won't ruin a good layout/design. * Like he said, make it as small without p!ssing them...
  11. Dealing with "incorporated"

Soooo....... as you can clearly see now, no one uses it, except for schmucks....... profit or non-profit..
  12. Print Provider for Non-profit?

No, I don't know of anyone who tries to make profit and then gives away 1,000s of signs to someone else. If word got out, they'd be swamped with freebie work and looking for freebie employees and then freebie supplies. It's called the trickle down theory til there's nothing. The individual or...
  13. Dealing with "incorporated"

No, not anywhere I've done business. Do you answer the phone..... Hello, this is ABC Company and Distributors and Fabricators..... INC ??
  14. Dealing with "incorporated"

Ignore it and talk the customer out of using it. None of that stuff is needed on a sign, truck body or any other signwork. It's only needed on legal documents, like quotes, invoices, letterheads and things having nothing to do with advertisements.
  15. Custom Large Murals

I think it looks very nice and is a very nice presentation. For those who are mocking it..... just don't have an eye for this kinda art. For people who are contemplating buying this for a back wall kitchen scene or a restaurant, I'm sure a prospective buyer would really be into looking at...
  16. Coroplast Sign Stake Options

My feeling is this, they're buying the least expensive way to make a sign, so there aren't many options for cheap stands. I never knew there were as many styles as Gene pointed out in his video. I think if they want sturdier, they should double up the 10 x 30's
  17. Squeegee marks on lamimated vinyl

That's not really a dumb question, but I used to use a heat gun and found I could control a flame better. Now, nothing but a torch. For removing old vinyl, a heat gun or even a hair dryer.
  18. Question Discontinued - Quickbooks Premier Desktop -

Yeah, we got our first one back in the 1990's sometime. Here at the shop, we primarily use them to generate quotes and generate invoice transmittal sheets for the office. So, none of the taxes, banking or any other features are really needed. I guess that's why they keep theirs up-to-date...
  19. Question Discontinued - Quickbooks Premier Desktop -

What am I missing here ?? :bookworm I have QB on two computers. Both are 2011 versions and I haven't updated since 2011. Both versions work completely except for saving pdf's. Someone here helped me get over that hurdle. Other than that, the program runs perfectly. The office is running...
