  1. Need Help Roland Printing Specks on Reflective vinyls

I take it you don't have a UV printer to run these on instead? There's a reason Avery won't recommend solvent printing this stuff - it doesn't have a coating that is receptive to accepting solvent ink. Even printing on non-printable engineer grade reflective is a crapshoot sometimes, I would...

Sounds like a fun store, and layout is perfect as is. Send it!
  3. Happy Halloween everyone

Interesting. Must be a US thing...us canadians prefer to run around and freeze our asses off I guess! (Already have almost a foot of snow on the ground)
  4. Looking for a poly material replacement

Nothing like losing a source for one of your go-to materials! Ah, the joys of being in Canada. Have you looked into any of ND's (PolyBrite) or Nekoosa's offerings? https://www.ndgraphics.com/products/materials-supplies/banners-textiles-roll-ups/pet-poly.html At first glance I didn't see...

Never heard of this concept! Is it pretty new?
  6. Happy Halloween everyone

We only got a handful, but weren't really advertising that much. Our 16 month old son went trick or treating at one of the malls since it was so cold out, was a zoo in there! We did go to my wife's sister's place later on in the night, and there were hundreds of kids on each street. I...

  11. Printing Translucent to keep the reflective.

How would reflective vinyl burn out print heads? I've never heard such a thing.
  12. Grimlite

Yeah no kiddin'. Could've just said "effective immediately blah blah blah" instead of sounding whiny. Clearly it's a big blow to them and they're not happy about it, but still.
  13. Am I the only one seeing all these junk posts?

Thanks Paul. Good to have things back to normal around here!
  14. This forum is drowning in

Same. I always report spam posts/members but it seems the admins are MIA
  15. Printing Translucent to keep the reflective.

You can even see it reflecting in the picture..........not much else you can ask from a printed reflective sign. Solvent ink is not opaque, so the reflective properties will still behave as intended when that sample is hit by a light source.

    Thanks, now I'm hungry.

This has be be the most spam crap posts I've ever seen in one day. Congratulations Indriani Tia for flooding everyone's feed with your garbage! Any last words before you (eventually) get booted? Admins..............any way to limit number of new threads in a time period? Have new members...
  19. Flat Bed Cutter Recommendations

Those do look really nice, and how often can you actually configure and price out equipment right on the website!? Unless the specs are wrong, I don't see any difference between the X7 and X9 other than about 20k.....? Either way, well priced machines. I'd have a look at these if and when...
