Everyone is up to their opinion. Some people pray for rain; some pray for sun. Not one is right or wrong. We believe in Jetbest ink that would perform as good as OEM. Save lots of cash for something else. As simple as that.
Lots of these printers were sold. Just make sure you have a nearby good dealer for support. Buy ink supplies from them so they would give you good support.
We bought that XR640 new from a local Roland dealer. It wasn't in print production either. I think the printer has less than 300 printing hours at the time. Nothing was changed so it is as good as it can be.
No, the ink will not make the sound gross. LOL. Just want to clarify that since many...
No Jetbest ink users? I will be one. For the record, we sell Jetbest ink in the US.
We sell whole lot of it. We purchased a brand new XR640 in 2016. We put Jetbest ink the first day. We don't do production; very little printing. We never had to replace the printhead for three years. My...
Horrible. We paid 10 Xaar printheads to a reputable company. They were wrong printheads so I asked for replacement. According to them, in order for them to ship again. I have to pay again. I paid again; received the right printheads. I sent the wrong printheads back. No refund after a week. It...

Thank you
Francis
You really don't need chips to run on some of Roland printers. Our VS540i does not have any chip on it. Some models required black chips only. The versawork will say low ink but the printer will print. I would remove all the chips and start to print. If the printer still cleans every few feets...
That is not fair to say. Third party ink will not do that. Machine does not recognize what kind of ink it is. It is the chip that gave the problem. It happened to be a "Roland" chip. Anything happened people point to third party ink. How much do you know about third party ink? Roland doesn't...

Replacement ink for Mutoh, Roland and Mimaki printers

I would give them description of what you need exactly and let them tell you which one you should get. In case there is a problem, you should go back to them and ask for support. That is what I would do. Use OEM dampers.
Thank you FatCat!
