I get great true reds with my L25500 and I use onyx. What media are you printing on? What profiles are you using? Are you doing your own ICC's?

Seal laminators are as good as they come. I have the seal 62 Pro I really recommend it.

Well obviously, we are talking the same profile on different passes uses the same ink.

The answer is no. 6,8,12,16 pass they all use the same amount of ink.

Seal makes awesome laminators. my first lasted over 10 years and was still working when I replaced it. second has less than a year and working great.

Change your printer settings to go to sleep after 2 hours, not 30 minutes. That can help.

You need a spectrophotometer to make the l26500 match the LX850. We have both and make them match. On your L26500's they should be very close, on the RIP copy the profile from one printer to the other so you are sure it's the same. If they still very far apart maybe there's head needs changing.

What are you printing on? What profiles are you using? Did you made your own ink limits and restrictions? From my short expirience with the LX the profiles that come with the LX850 are not very good, you have to make you own. It's not like the L26500 wich have very good generic profiles.
