If you ever want to use a better vinyl, get in touch with the guys at Substance Media! (they sell direct) They have the best calendared vinyl I have ever used.
I will try to look up what I got. I get a quantity of like 20 of each blade. I get 6 or so different ones for my Summa F. So far, they all have worked great. Even if they "dull" or break twice as often, I am still WAY ahead of OEM price wise.
Doesn't Epson still use DecisionOne for the Surecolors? That is who I worked with in the past. On my V7000, Epson does that 100% in house. I know the techs said they want to bring the others back in house, but I didn't know if that happened yet or not.
after installing the tool, go into the tool and click "ADC" so it does as full remeasure of the blade. could also try puting some tape at spots along the edge. That will tell you if the material is binding up.
Here are 2 contacts where I have ordered from:
- Legion Paper: :Luke Del Campo: luke@legionpaper.com
- Exceptional Paper: John Tillinghast: pprboy12ca@gmail.com
I run these on my Epson V7000 all of the time.
Epson S80600
Epson V7000
US Tech Laminator
Summa S140T
Summa F1612
Aeon Nova14 Laser
Formart 2 Vacuum Former
Bambulab X1 Carbon 3d Printer (plus several other 3d printers)
Keencut
Other various tools: Punches, HD Sewing Machine, Saws, Sanders, etc.
I have toyed with the thought of selling mine to upgrade to something bigger. My thing is that I have almost every tool and the front extension, and it would need to all go as one package.
