When printing Yellow on its own it prints perfectly but when it is touching another colour it can bleed and make the image look blurry.
Heat settings are as high as they go, even when I alter them it is not making any difference.
I agree it is a bad batch of ink but the supplier is not accepting...
I have a Roland VersaEXPRESS RF-640 4 colour machine running Nazdar inks.
I have posted this on the Roland forum but I am trying to see if anyone has similar issues?
My print test is perfect.
It is as if their is an issue with the Yellow ink as it seems to not mix well with other colours and is...
Nazdar state they make a MAX 2 and MAX 3 ink.
On a further note.
I was on the US Roland Profile site and there only are profiles that are specifically for MAX 2 inks and do not show MAX 3.
The European site has the choice of MAX 2 & MAX 3.
Are MAX 3 inks not available in the US?

These are Nazadar inks on a RF-640 4 colour machine.
My nozzle test is perfect and it has been checked by a Roland Tech and it is printing and aligned perfect.

A while back I had a set of inks although marked externally as Max 3 when installed came up as "wrong ink type".
The supplier reckoned "the wrong chip had been installed" and sent others out to replace them.
My ink issues are as if some inks are not mixing as they should and leaving a mottled...
This is an ongoing thing which I am trying to work out.
If I was supplied Eco-Sol Max 2 instead of Eco-Sol Max 3 and used it in my machine.
What is the issues and problems I could encounter?
I think my supplier has sent me the wrong ink and it is causing issues.

Do I need to flush or clean my system switching back to original Roland Max3 inks?
I understand i will need to run a few cleans and cross contamination between the inks may be an issue.
My inks as they stand are:-
Black one cartridge 0% one cartridge at 75%
Magenta one cartridge 20% one...
The supplier of my inks has offered a few options.
1. Change the printer back to their version of Max 2 inks.
2. Run it with a futher batch of their Max 3 inks and see if the problems persist.
3. Return to using OEM Max 3 inks.
I am a bit wary of changing to Max 2 as I feel this will affect...

Four times today I have issues with files from Canva.
This is making people think they are designers but certainly is not helping us the signmakers/large format printers.

I have been back and forward wit a client over the last week.
They kept sending low quality raster images in a different format.
Magically they have found the vector file in a format I can cut from, once I told them I would have to charge for a redraw!!!
Boils my p*** just because they couldn't...
My biggest issue is with a new app called Canva.
Even my business colleague is a big fan. But she doesn't see the issues it brings trying to get the artwork ready for large format printing or cut graphics.

All good again bar one little incident where last night the magenta on the right hand side lost a load of nozzles.
Turns out there was a little bit of air in the magenta line on that side and after one Super clean it was all good again.

I didn't want to change back but it seems inevitable if I want it back to how well it was originally printing.
I have noticed their is a huge update for versaworks to 6.19.2 & also Device and Media Files update.
Maybe, just maybe this will fix all my issues....

Well the tech came over yesterday, installed a new cap and serviced it.
He also carried out all the head alignments in service mode and set bi-directional in user mode.
He complemented me as everything looks as new and it is all set as it should be.
The prints are better but still not as when it...
