No it didn't.
I realigned all the Bi-Directional values and this improved it slightly.
Sadly the Magenta has now failed completley as we think the cap has failed as the ink just ran out whilst printing.
This would be understandable as the magenta channels are along one side of the sealing edge.

Update:-
I have carried out a few Super Cleans on the Magenta but it still isn't pulling in any Magenta on both lines.
I have an engineer coming over on Friday morning and he is going to change the Cap Top as he suspects this is what has failed.
This seems plausible, as the Magenta nozzles are...
On my RF 640 after doing a perfect nozzle test this morning, whilst printing some banners both magenta channels started to fail.
On removing the cover you can see air in both the magenta lines.
Whilst doing some cleans the magenta is not moving.
What should I do?
Thanks

Yes I have tried lots of different profile. with no difference.
It doesn't seem to be an issue with the profile, it is more regarding the way the ink is laid down and how much and maybe the ink itself.

I posted this issue a while back regarding how my printer is laying down colours.
Over the last few months I have had one magenta nozzle deflected.
After it blocked completeley last week I carried out a clean and it all came back with no deflections, which was surprissing.
The prints are...
Does anyone know of where I could buy the insert panel outlines on various vehicles?
So I do not need to use cutting tape, or even worse freehand cutting on vehicles.

I am doing exactly as you have said except I print bi-directional as it doesn't help and only slows down the print.
I am fastidious with keeping this clean and although it is nearly two years old now it looks like new.
This issue is to such a degree now I am thinking of flushing all the inks out...
Honestly I have altered heat settings with no difference and if I adjust the ink quanties the colours are not correct.
My substrates have not changed in the last 5 years.
I am running Nazdar inks but have also tried another supplier and they both have the same problems.
I never had this issue...
I have tried your print test and they are doing much the same as my original print.
Please understand, there is no banding just the way the ink is pooling/sitting on the material.

Does any other members of this forum have a new Roland GR2 plotter?
I have some serious issues with it.
Strange thing I noticed last week when I was on my warranty information on my machine that the warranty has been added another year on this machine.
I am not getting anywhere with Roland and...
Of late I am seeing a lot of prints that look either fuzzy or with Reds than seem almost as if the ink is like when you get silicon issues when painting and it is sepearating.
Is their some sort of calibration and setup I can do as the test prints are perfect and the head has no lint?
Thanks
