So true. I have been running them for a little over a year now and feel like it is a fine tuned working machine. The whole month is paid off within 1-2 orders. Yes we turn away a lot of the tire kickers, but we also pull in some really nice jobs. It all depends on how it is managed.
I love signs 365, but their color matching is laughable. They are a great company and I don't mean to be harsh, but it is. I have heard of others having great success with their pms matching, but unfortunately we have not. I will definitely still order from them and continue using them in the...
We do a ton of political work and I can promise you, it is a down and dirty market. Unless your a screen printer or you are running a $1m flatbed, you will never compete.
Found a $400 questionable shipment on last weeks invoice and called customer service. This is the second questionable charge like that in one month. Somebody has been over nighting auto parts on our UPS account. I was told they would block it after the first call but of course they didn't. I...
Learned this the hard way. Took a job that called for 10 rolls of static cling to be reverse printed, screen white backup and then contour cut. Everything was fine until the contour cut came into play. We had somebody babysitting and cussing our plotter for an entire week. You can definitely...
That is great news. Our machine went down the first couple months we owned it (faulty head fried the motherboard twice) and know how frustrating it can be. No where near the issues you have mentioned, but it always seems to happen at the worst time. Thankfully Epson has always been very...
Would love to hear an update. We own a GS6000 and have been very happy with it, but you can't help but feel a little nervous when you hear about situations like this.
All are very true points. HP puts on one hell of a demo. Our demo operator, Craig (Shultz?), was incredible to watch. The belt on the FB is made for continuos production compared to a true flatbed. I am willing to sacrifice a little bit of quality for faster speed. It all depends on what...
This is exactly why we don't chase the wrap business. I will happily quote whatever comes our way with a healthy margin and lose probably 75% of the bids. I have no interest in spending that amount of money on materials and labor and not making s#$% on it. I can make this same amount of money...
We printed a couple sample rolls of it and it prints great. Not nearly as thick (felt more like a 14oz) but still a good product.
I may be trying Advantages 18oz blockout. Anybody had any experience with this?
