Interesting, can't say I've heard of them! We're stuck right in the middle of both their locations but will see what their shipping rates are. We deal with Spicers locally and they've been really good to us.
Thanks Scott, I like this idea. Just found out most of the signs won't have an overlay sign at first so standoffs won't work. (Don't want a bunch of threads sticking out of the signs, will look ugly)
We're going to CNC the overlay panels so we can make sure hole placement is precise enough...
We had a Nekoosa rep come by a few months back, great guy and they have a really nice lineup of products. He sent me some samples rolls as promised after our meeting, which is more than I can say for most reps/salespeople.
I didn't bother reading the rest of your rant...............but I find this hilarious.
What I find "annoying"..........is when random people show up here and expect industry veterans to just spit out their tried and true methods just because you asked. And delivered on a silver spoon no less...
Ehhh....I'd be nervous with just velcro. They don't have a lot of vacancies so changeovers will be pretty rare. I also have to keep in mind what it will look like when the insert is removed.
Sorry, forgot to mention, the idea is that the main back panel reads "Fully leased" like in the...
Good ideas, thanks. Any concerns w/ stainless steel standoffs if they're going to be in contact with ACM and/or another bolt? Maybe safer to just go with aluminum standoffs...... ?
We took those off of our single, double and heavy duty knives and never looked back. Caused more issues than they helped with.
Glad you got it sorted out!
We've got a few of these to build for a customer, who changes their own inserts. We're making 6-ish or so and they don't have very much turnover at all, so they won't be changed often by any means.
I'm having a hard time deciding what to use to attach the changeable "banner" part - I was...
Agreed. How can you be so close to launching "a business" yet have literally no idea how you're going to make the product.
I guess this is what happens when every Tom, Dick and Harry can set up an e-commerce site and say they own their own business.
Snide remarks aside, I wish you the best...
It would be helpful to know what kind of equipment, RIP, workflow you have.
There is a wide range of automation available but making suggestions without knowing what you're currently using or have access to you would be pointless.
I know based on the Gamut checker in Onyx, we're hitting around 93% of Coated PMS colors on our 4 color S60600 with custom profiles. I would imagine running a S60800 would open that up a bit further into the high 90's.
Hire a bookkeeper that can do these things in a tenth of the time?
Doesn't sound like he's the right guy for that kind of work, or for using computers in general for that matter.

Should be some good info for you there.
Can you shove something into the sensor to trip it? That's what we did on our Rolands.............so we could open it without it pausing the print.
Paperclip worked well if I recall correctly.
