improper installs and poor storage are the 2 biggest things that will kill a banner. I have installed 8oz banners with Cal+ vinyl only hemed on the ends that lasted 5 years.(back in the 90's) A customer has purchased 19 oz dig printed banners with welded 1" hems that only lasted 2 months...
We use the Photo Tex opaque/Blockout all the time, We just recently switched form the General Formulations GraphTex. Not because anything was wrong with it, it is just what the local supplier carries. But, just make sure the wall was not painted with a Low VOC paint. Even the high tack...
Not a fan of the VG we have. After 3 years Roland finally replaced my old VG. The new one is better, but far from perfect. This is my 5th Roland and might be my last. May go back to Mimaki
I hate it when I design a great looking graphic for a vehicle and can not make it look good on the opposite side, So I have to start over. or even worse is when my boss or the customer designs a design gets it approved never thinking of the opposite side and I am the bad guy for not making it...
Using just the US numbers. Our much superior medical system (regardless of what some say) more like 1.5% infected to Death. Yes still much worse than the standard Flu. But we can not use the numbers of other countries that do not have our wealth.

I would think a guy would make a killing adding all the info on how to remove door handles, spoilers, Roof racks, lights ETC on like a Pro Vehicle Library with photos or videos.
This story is exactly what I have been dealing with for 2 years now with my vg-540. The only difference is my local tech is amazing. He doesn't have an answer, but Roland has been completely useless on our behave and never gets back and does everything to blame something other than the...
After loading and unloading 64" printers all day everyday for the last 19 years I had to have back surgery 3 weeks ago. 2 very bulged disks. Remember Use your Legs.....
the 1360 has 2 advantages along with being a little less expensive, so i guess 3 advantages. Yes it is optic Clear, The other is that it is a thinner laminate this means it is more conformable and stretches a little more. As for durability and UV protection the difference is very minimal...
I have had my VS for about a year and a half. Most of the time I wished it was out in the street. Most of the problems have since been resolved. Yes the prints are beautiful, however the machine is OK at best, and that is after the problems have been resolved.
I have run into this before, Hoping someone has an Idea.
I am doing the back window on a 2011 Nissan Rogue. This is a curved window (not a problem), but it has the spoiler that sits just above the glass and follows it. There are a lot of the smaller SUV's and Wagons that do this. How do I...
