    it's nitpick and I remember typefaces starting to be referred to as fonts around the time Gerber started selling 'font cartridges'...then font seem to take over typeface in general sign talk.... added...I'm quite sure typesetters used to use the term 'type'...bob can clarify this.

    you may have your rendering intent set to absolute colorimetric, try setting to relative colorimetric for both vector and bitmap and try that.

    Hard to help you with that limited info. I think I remember you posting a question how to match a candy red? If you have a scanner, scan a sample of what your trying to match and use your colour picker and go from there...at least you'll have a reference to start from. This is the most basic...

    It's a 4 colour aqueous printer and slow. You'd have to convert it to solvent inks to be viable for signwork in this day and age. There are much better alternatives out there.
