it's nitpick and I remember typefaces starting to be referred to as fonts around the time Gerber started selling 'font cartridges'...then font seem to take over typeface in general sign talk.... added...I'm quite sure typesetters used to use the term 'type'...bob can clarify this.

I don't know how it works for you in Norway. We paid out twice the US price and even more for the 3 year warranty, worth every cent to us, this gives us a new set of heads every year if needed, they come and service it every 6 months, whatever it needs and calibration. Epson delivered and set...

you may have your rendering intent set to absolute colorimetric, try setting to relative colorimetric for both vector and bitmap and try that.

This is what I've been looking for over here. We're matching pms and spraying everyday. I can colour match and mix by eye but a system like this would be great.

Hard to help you with that limited info. I think I remember you posting a question how to match a candy red? If you have a scanner, scan a sample of what your trying to match and use your colour picker and go from there...at least you'll have a reference to start from. This is the most basic...

It's a 4 colour aqueous printer and slow. You'd have to convert it to solvent inks to be viable for signwork in this day and age. There are much better alternatives out there.
