Never ever have I seen this before..... I have to take off the 2 4x4 decals on the rear of the bed of a pickup and I just used a heat gun on the low setting and basically peeled the decal off in one piece ( nice vinyl too BTW). So now there is a yellow discouloring left behind...sort of like...
you can try wearing a disposable glove too, they create enough friction so your thumb does not get sore...and speaking of these teflon strips...why the hell do they cost so much? I have no idea where they would be used anywhere else as I did a search years ago and found nothing.....
I'm on 8 and it reads all the old files...mind you some of the font names must have been changed over the years as my really old files from the century before can have issues finding fonts..not all but some
I would love to hear the techniques people use to go over a line of rivets. I have no idea how it is done without getting the vinyl to bunch up creating those tiny wrinkles. Do you heat the area first before applying pressure. I even get the wrinkles using a foam roller I bought specifically...
I took them out and the install worked out fine. As mentioned I am not a wrap guy, so dealing with rivets has always been an issue. Not sure how you get them around large screws like these without getting the crimping of the vinyl.
They are the screw type that a robertson screwdriver works perfect on. I always remove, but with such a large area my concern is that they are there to secure the panels to something inside....but if you guys say it's OK then I am good to go. I am using cast vinyl with cast laminate.
I am by no means a wrap guy but will tinker with partials or flat wraps. I have a trailer here and it has those rather large rivets that can be unscrewed. In the past with partial wraps I have unscrewed them where ever the graphic hit and screwed them back in. With doing practically the...
I get so many and they come in waves...Today for instance I have not received any, but tomorrow I could get 10. If it is a live person asking for the owner of the business I put them on hold and never come back...sometimes you can see the line flashing for well over 3 minutes. If it is a...
Oh I figured it out!!! not an Avery issue... I use an old Gerber double roller to pull the laminate off the roll for short runs and it seems to be somehow tearing the laminate, although I can't see how as they are rubber and it never happens on 3ml or 3m 2ml. That stuff must be awfully sensitive..
I had first ordered a roll of this laminate last fall and when there was about 5-8 yards left on the roll there were these continuosu tears or rips right about centre of the material all the way to the end. I threw the roll aside and figured this is an isolated incident. Today I am finishing a...
I do this because the sensor for the wiper is sort of malfunctioning so at night when I leave, the moment it does a sleep cleaning the wiper moves out about an inch then stops and the machine sits idel like this with instructions to hit the enter button....until then it sits on and never cleans...
