Have you played around with settings like speed, uni-directional versus bi-directional? I find sometimes thicker medias require slower printing or a different profile. Are you using the profile for that media?
  2. SP300 media buckling under roller?

Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into this.
  5. Wondering if you might have a suggestion for static cling for unique application

Correct. We don't want an adhesive back, due to what we use it for. But we do need the backer liner for the production process.
  6. Wondering if you might have a suggestion for static cling for unique application

Thanks, I will explore that avenue. Just to confirm, that media doesn't have any adhesive?
  7. Wondering if you might have a suggestion for static cling for unique application

Thanks for the suggestion. That's actually a product we currently use, however it's backer liner is very thin compared to the media itself which causes issues for our process. I know it's a long shot, but it never hurts to ask. As the saying goes if you don't ask, you don't know. Don't really...
  8. Wondering if you might have a suggestion for static cling for unique application

Although I cannot give exact specifics, due to not giving away our production methods entirely, we do apply the epoxy to the face. We make promotional products like key chains, lapel pins, badges and things of that nature. I understand that most likely if someone has any suggestions, it is...

  10. Wondering if you might have a suggestion for static cling for unique application

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone here has used or heard of a static cling vinyl or non adhesive media (with backer liner) that epoxy resin will bond to and is eco-solvent printable. We used to use a static cling from Flexcon, however a few years back, they discontinued their line, unless...
  11. Hello from Central Kentucky

I would recommend, for the time being, until it's not practical, you should outsource the printing / cutting portion. It will end up saving you the hassle of using cheaper, less reliable equipment and then once your in the right position, you can buy the correct equipment. There are a few...

Does this happen for every job or just this particular one?
  13. Versaworks forcing tiles on prints?

I'm not sure this will help with your current situation, however, even if you have a 60" roll loaded, you aren't going to get the area to print 60", as you lose some on the edges depending where your pinch rollers are. I have 30" printers and typically I only have about 26 - 27" of printable...
  14. Roland Versacamm VS-300 Waste Ink not draining

While not being used, was the head sitting on the cap top? If not, it probably dried out. You could do a 48 hour head soak and that should help.
  15. Roland- True Vis sg2-300 Printing Issues - HELP

Yes, based on that nozzle test, it looks like the cyan/magenta head is out of alignment. As the service menu is locked out, you'll need to get a tech in to do the alignment, probably caused by a head strike, but does look fixable.
  16. Roland- True Vis sg2-300 Printing Issues - HELP

It looks like the heads might be out of adjustment.
  17. Problem with print Roland Vs 640

If you had this exact problem prior to replacing the head and dampers, then you can rule out the head as the culprit. I don't think it's the cap top either, but has that been replaced since this issue arose? My guess would be some sort of electrical issue or a board or cable issue. During your...
  18. Best place to buy head DX4?

No, don't get another from them, we had a defective DX7 head and they refused to replace or refund.
