  1. Need Help Printing problem

Luckily with the SP-300i, the head are about $400 USD, much less than newer models.
  2. Need Help Printing problem

The head is permanently damaged, with it going sideways, there's no bringing that back, even if other parts are needed. But as what you mentioned, it would be smart for him to replace those parts at the same time as the head.
  3. Need Help Printing problem

Yes, I get ours from Chinese supplier. A google search should be able to help you out. Unfortunately as these machines are end of life, no certified Roland Tech will touch them, so you need to do all servicing yourself.
  4. Need Help Printing problem

It's pretty easy to get a 3rd party head for these and if you can get your hands on the service manual, it's pretty easy to replace if you are a mechanically handy person.
  5. Need Help Printing problem

There's your issue right there. Looks like you had a bad head strike. My guess is, you need a new cyan / Black head.
  6. Need Help Printing problem

It's relatively simple to do a encoder strip cleaning. You'll need some cleaning swabs and isopropyl, then you take the swab wet it with the isopropyl, then lightly rub it going down the encoder strip in 1 direction, after it's clean, take a dry swab and wipe it up. Try another print and see if...
  7. Need Help Printing problem

Have you done a nozzle test to see how they look, as well, have you cleaned the encoder strip?
  8. Roland Versacamm VS-300 Waste Ink not draining

As mentioned above, it looks like the cap is missing on that top left side. There is no line that goes, just a little cap.
  9. SP300 Head replacement...fill first with flushing fluid?

Just to confirm, you took out the main board and tested the fuse, as what your stating now sounds exactly like a blown fuse.
  10. Bn-20 Nozzle

Sounds like the cap top might be clogged. I'm still thinking based on what you were saying the other day, you should really consider bringing a tech in at this point. That way you don't waste anymore of your time and you get it fixed. If I were you, I'd watch and ask the tech questions, that way...
  11. laminate or not

If you do go the Roland VS-300i route, you'll need laminate to make them last any amount of time outdoors. The inks can scratch off easily enough and won't hold up to weather very well, no matter what brand you use.
  12. Not sure how to go about this................................ ??

Lol, I do say sorry too much and love maple syrup.
  13. Not sure how to go about this................................ ??

Then the one version will be fine, as even those from Quebec can understand standard Canadian French. Just don't use google translate by itself if you go that route, have a French speaker / reader proof read for you. It frustrates me some times when I read something in French that I know was...
  14. Not sure how to go about this................................ ??

As mentioned above, for French the wording is mainly the same, however it can differ slightly depending where it's going, if it's only for the North American market, you should be fine sticking to one version, the hurdle will be if going to Europe.
  15. Parts for an old Roland SC-540

Just by chance, have you contacted your local dealer to see if they have any they can sell you? I know our local tech always has extras kicking around and has replaced some on our machines in the past if we've misplaced.
  16. SP300 Head replacement...fill first with flushing fluid?

Sounds like a fuse may have gone this time. Check the 2 little fuses on the main board and hopefully that's all it is.
  17. Roland vp-640 light cyan banding

Good morning, Unfortunately your nozzle test isn't fine, you have some missing nozzles, however, even more concerning, if you look at the cyan in the small service menu print, it has the banding right in it. No guarantees, but you might be able to compensate for the time being by changing to...
  18. Bn-20 Nozzle

Based on what I'm reading, it sounds like you're way beyond your comfort level and knowledge. You might be at a point where it would be a good decision to bring a tech in to service your machine.
  19. Bn-20 Nozzle

By pulling from beneath the cap top it should bring in ink, as you mention only air, it sounds like the head isn't sitting correctly on the cap top.
  20. SP-300 - New printhead?

Glad to hear you were able to fix the issue.
