  1. Bn-20 Nozzle

What you need to do is clamp one of the lines that comes from the cap top that goes to the pump and then disconnect the other one and connect the syringe to it, make sure the head is lock in the cap top and gently pull. It might take a few syringes, but typically it does get everything there...
  2. sp300 help

Could be damage to the head. Maybe try a 48 hour head soak to see if that gives any improvement.
  3. Bn-20 Nozzle

I'm not sure, but you could always try.
  4. Need Help BN20 clicking noise

As I cannot see the whole process or the entire carriage while it's clicking, I can't see if it's hitting anything, but it sounds exactly like the issue I had. Could be a faulty piece. However, if the unit is only 6 months old, it should be under warranty and you should be able to get a tach out...
  5. Bn-20 Nozzle

It couldn't hurt, as worse case scenario you make it ruins the head more and you'll need a new head anyways, best case, it helps. I believe there's 2 lines from the cap top going to the pump, you'll need to disconnect one and connect the syringe to it and clamp off the other, then pull ink, I...
  6. Bn-20 Nozzle

Then unfortunately it sounds as though you're in need of a new print head.
  7. Need Help BN20 clicking noise

I had a similar sound happen on my VS-300i, at first I thought it might be the rail, however, it turned out that my scan motor was going, once replaced, the sound went away. Can't guarantee that's the exact problem, but it could be, another potential could be the bearings in the carriage...
  8. Roland sp-300v error

Like I mentioned, I'm not certain, haven't had first hand experience with this code, it is what should up on a Roland error code PDF I found on the forums.
  9. Roland sp-300v error

This is what I found by doing a quick forum search: It means [no memory]. It is not enough for processing the print data. Solution: 1. Get Parameters using the peck tool 2. Please carry out the SYSTEM PARAMETER INITIALIZE. 3. Put parameters back into the main board using the peck tool 4. Please...
  10. Bn-20 Nozzle

Yes, correct, except you need to clamp off the drain lines after the cap top, otherwise the liquid will just drain out into the waste container.
  11. Bn-20 Nozzle

To do a ahead soak, you turn off the power and un plug the machine, then you unlock and move the head over off the cap top. You'll need to un screw the cover around the cap top so that you can get access to the lines after it, then you need to clamp off the lines and fill the cap top with...
  12. Bn-20 Nozzle

As you mentioned, there is definitely some deflection in the black and some missing nozzles on other colors. Did you try a 48 hour head soak? If not, it pretty easy to do.
  13. Bn-20 Nozzle

What does work nozzle test / test print look like?
  14. Bn-20 Nozzle

That makes it sound like a damper or cap top issue, where it's getting starves of ink. Is it still working on full prints and not cutting out?
  15. ink suppliers in Canada

Not sure if they offer Bulk systems, but Spicer's (formerly All Graphic Supplies) is who we buy our inks for our Roland's from.
  16. Bn-20 Nozzle

    How did you fix it?
  17. 0.0" width sp300v

Typically that 0.0 error, is due to the long cable that goes from the tool carriage needing replacement. If your handy, it's pretty easy to do, just time consuming.
  18. Bn-20 Nozzle

Sounds like either the cap top needs replacing or the damper is failing.
  19. Hello from Canada

    Hello from Dieppe, New Brunswick
  20. sp540 urgent problem, help!!

Could always try a carriage board and see if that helps, probably your cheapest option, board wise. I believe you mentioned earlier that you replaced the cables, was this the 4 cables that go to the head only or did you also change the long cables that go from the carriage board to the main...
