  1. Question Roland UV or Mimaki UV

One of my reps told me, that his Epson rep told him, that Epson has never made a head compatible with uv inks. Which is probably why. ;)
  2. Need Help Summa Opos X or Opos Cam??

I have an S140t with the OPOS-x and the Summa F, which uses the OPOS-CAM. The OPOS-CAM is so much nicer!!! Both are accurate, but the CAM version is way better in my opinion. It's more forgiving too. If you happen to have a mark goofed up, or print on a odd material, you can get it to read the...

  11. Taking delivery of our new Summa F1612 next week, what else should I know?

They also just came out with a new creasing wheel that looks nice! With the old ones, it would tend to tear the top layer of paper of heavy cardstock and cardboard. This new one is supposed to eliminate that. Of course, I have to get it. haha
  12. Taking delivery of our new Summa F1612 next week, what else should I know?

Usually just the HD Cut Out Knife. That is what I seem to use 90% of the time.
  13. Taking delivery of our new Summa F1612 next week, what else should I know?

I use something like these to support it on the backside. I cut 5x10 sheets of PVC a lot. OIP.qHBPa0wmc2jQ6TXuQt_FYAHaHa

I LOVE my SummaF flatbed cutter!
  15. Taking delivery of our new Summa F1612 next week, what else should I know?

I just have the Kress router myself. The HF router looks nice, but don't see where it's worth the extra price! Especially with how expensive it is!! Not to mention you can pickup a second spindle for like ~$400. I did get a second one for quick bit changes and to have a backup. The only reason I...
  16. Taking delivery of our new Summa F1612 next week, what else should I know?

Technically, no. You have a belt that is about twice as long, but your cut area is still the same. I know when I first saw it, I thought it was dumb and didn't see how it would help. But after a while decided to go for it. I think it was around $4k. Like I said, it makes loading/unloading all...

  18. Taking delivery of our new Summa F1612 next week, what else should I know?

I have had mine for 2 years now and still LOVE it!! The ONLY thing I wish they would do would be to update a few things in the GoProduce software that runs it. (mostly for routing jobs as this is my only router) It has cut everything I have ever needed it to. I did add the front extension table...
  19. Printing fine print for labels

If I have super fine text I need to do, I just do unidirectional and it works great.
  20. Question Which Laser Should I Buy?

If you want a glass tube CO2 laser, defiantly check out Aeon. They have US sales and support based in Florida. I absolutely LOVE mine. www.aeonlaser.us. For print/cut jobs, you will want to go with Epilog or Trotec with a registration camera. On thinner acrylic, they are capable of leaving a...
