I have mine through a dust stopper (on top of a 5gallon bucket) then into the biggest RIGID vacuum I could get. It has worked great so far. I use the bags in my vacuum too to make it cleaner.

I have some stuck nozzles in the black on one of my heads, Epson S80. I am wondering what the proper way to do a head soak is? I have never had to do one before. Thanks!!

I looked at all of these about 3 years ago. I went with the Fuji LED1600. To me, everything about it was better! Their service and support are great too, at least in my area.

I love my Summa!! I am still running my S-140T that is pushing 10 years old, still runs like new.

Running my Fuji LED1600 out of warranty. Warranties seemed to be way overpriced. I was quoted like $8k for a 1 year warranty.

3755 is their thicker version. I prefer the thinner stuff.

My guess is that the polishing bit needs a lot higher RPM to be effective. Hitting the edge with a torch using MAP gas seems to do a good job polishing it up.

You can find the same spindle out there to purchase. That brand, Kress/AMB, is not Summa exclusive. They actually just came out with a new one of this same model the Summa uses that has a software controlled speed control. It would be interesting to see if Summa would incorporate this.

I use cast laminate on everything. Almost every shrinking issue I have experienced appeared to be the calendared laminate shrinking. I have pretty much eliminated that since I switched to using all cast laminates.

I had the first 3 latex printers. They were nice, but after that I went to the Epson and don't think I would go back. At the same time, I think it depends what you are doing. If I needed to crank out stuff for same day type production, latex would probably be better. I however wanted the best...

I use the HD cut out tool for most things: a lot of thru cuts in vinyl, coroplast, foam core, pvc, etc. It's its a heaving media, over 5mm, I will just set it up to do multiple cuts to get through it and/or slow it down. I would honesty wait for the new creasing wheel. The old ones work, but...
