I just upgraded to V14. The main thing, only thing, I see as advantage for me is the new fine line feature. It does make really small text and lines clearer.
I too have the F1612. I have zero complaints with mine! The only thing I wish they would change is software related (open up more options with the router, which I am told should be available soon!) I have most of the tools for it as well. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
I take mine to OfficeMax/Office Depot. You can turn in 10 per month for a $2 credit each. Or if you don't care about the credit, they will take whatever you bring in. There do in my town anyways.
I typed in flatbedtools.com and it worked. They are cheaper than Summa, but a lot more than the place I found. I will say the only downfall about my suggestion is that you have to get larger quantities, but the price per blade are so cheap it was no big deal for me.
To those that have/had a Mimaki JFX200/EX. I am looking at adding one to my shop. My main thing is print quality. The speed won't be an issue, for a while anyways, as I am a one man shop. The prints I have seen from these are great and the only thing I have seen people complain about is that...
I am pretty sure it will take a head. haha. They quoted for everything it could be, including 2 heads, came to $5500. Hopefully it won't need all of that!!! I thought about just dumping it and getting something else, but there isn't anything else out now that interests me. haha
