I assume "service" manual is different then "owners manual" huh? I own one, and never used any manual, but probably have whatever came with it 10 or 12 years ago... ...but I'm sure someone will show up here with one! Or Gerber's own Tony T. might show up and save the day too!

thanks Gary. I almost thought that worked.... the last 50 times I tried to re-seat it, I got no response whatsoever on the key pad... but after shaking (and cleaning contacts again) I got it to go on to another screen in the boot-up process after the 're-seat cart" screen... so I was seconds...

why clear? frosted maybe? 4 color process inks are translucent, and of course don't include white.... does your client understand that this job would look great when you set the card on a white piece of paper... but if you set it on a mid-tone to dark colored counter top... it will look like...
