  1. Static cling inside window facing out

Make sure you use clear adhesive white with the above suggestion. Can print on any PVC based lam too. We print on 3M 8518 Lam all the time with great success. If you go this route, you need to back it with clear adhesive cast. Should add. This will stick well. This will be a PITA to remove.
  2. Anyone know the font?

Try Montserrat Bold. Not exact but close.
  3. Adhesion Issues, Need Suggestions

You could also "tape" the edges with 1" or 2" strips of clear laminate.
  4. Adhesion Issues, Need Suggestions

Try to give it 48 hours outgas before laminate and cut right before installation. Only throwing noodles at the wall here. It is very humid here and reds are the next stickiest colors to rich black for us, we always give extra outgas time for dark red, dark blue, and rich black. Also, trimming...
  5. Buying new computer - Windows 10 or Windows 7?

That's like asking Mac or PC, Xbox or Playstation, Coke or Pepsi? Everyone has an opinion. For what it is worth, I intentionally stay at least 1 step behind the current. We are on windows 7, professionally and personally. I will not upgrade to 10 until it is crammed down my throat. I run a 10...
  6. Hopefully.................

Which is why some of us just lurk and smirk!
  7. Looking for this font

He said in the original post that he couldn't find it on WtF... I tried using Find my Font to no avail. The closest one I could discern was this one from DaFont but it is only similar, not a match.
  8. Question Weird transparency on printed vouchers

Sorry, I've not a lot of time to look into the file. When I release your clipping mask, there are mixed overprint fill and stroke items checked. It appears that the black is 100% opaque, and I don't see transparency effects at first glance. This does look like an overprint though, the black is...
  9. font help please

    try Hitman (Regular)
  10. Script font help please!!!

Appears to be Brush Script, correct me if I'm wrong.
  11. Pierce County Logo (WA)

I never suggest times nr or comic sans for that matter.
  12. Pierce County Logo (WA)

This too. It's usually faster to remake it than to hunt for the logo. I usually try BotW, seeklogo, type company name and pdf into search bar and of that all turns up fruitless, remake instead of waste time.
  13. Pierce County Logo (WA)

Grab their low res logo from their website. Here's one. Live trace the blue shape from the png, retype the text using EucrosiaUPC. Voila, logo.
  14. Designing for signs

CRAP changes all the time! Pun intended. Last time I was in a classroom, it was ECBARF (2005) Emphasis, Contrast, Balance, Alignment, Repetition, Flow With importance in that order. Also, agree with Neato that a degree means little in this area. I know plenty of designers with degrees that I...
  15. Need Help What to use for stained glass look

Not sure how much work you want to put into it. Completely agree with transparent and overprint your ink twice. Any "framework" should be opaque, you could achieve this with a white print on top (becoming the back with your second surface application) or cut black on the back of the transparent...
