  3. What Plotter would you recommend?

It's impressove too. Especially when a supplier's sales person stops in and everything is running at the same time and I'm going from cutter to cutter and sending jobs to each of them and they say WTF. 1200 to 1500 linier feet of 54" vinyl weekly.
  4. What Plotter would you recommend?

I'm running two Seiko W-64 and two Roland XR-640, followed up with seven Graftec cutters, five 8600's and a 9000. Graftecs are bullet proof. Like Precision said Most problems are lack of experience in the operator. One of my Roland's runs about 18 hours per day and has 15 jobs in holding so...

    As Gino said Perforated Vinyl. 50/50, 60/40, 65/35, 70/30, 80/20.
  6. SAV graphics with laminate not adhering well.

I had a know it all person tell me that it was the memory of the laminate or the memory of the vinyl. Then I showed him the same graffixs printed and laminated 90 degrees and they curled the same. After trial and error found out I was using too much wetting agent.
  7. Acrylic Signs

UV Screen Printing on the clear arcylic is the way to go.
  8. Anybody use Mac?

I currently use pc's to rip & print on the Seiko's and Roland's. On my sheet fed printing I use a 2002 emac not an imac. Had to purchase the programs (quark express, illustrator, photo shop) $1300 just for the quark Suite. Ten years later the programs stopped working (aged out, no longer...
  9. Need Guidance - first time printing/installing - 3M IJ67 perf

This material is very forgiving because it's full of holes. It takes longer to install wet. Cut a couple of linear feet of material from the roll and practice on your front door/window or your cars back window. Post a photo of finished job.
  10. Need Guidance - first time printing/installing - 3M IJ67 perf

I print it on my Roland XR-640. 1. Use Your regular profile 2. No need to raise print head. 3. Runs through just like your regular vinyl. 4. Don't change temp or vacuum. 5. Print today cut tomorrow.

  13. Suggestions Head Cleaning Solvent vs. General Cleaning Solvent??

I take my Roland CL cartridge apart when it reads empty and cut the bag open then pour the 1/2 ounce or more of solution into a container. It works great.
  14. Need Help Arms not reading registration mark’s correctly.

If it happens all the time there could be something small blocking the sensor. When it happens on my graftecs I just press 1 and reposition the head then enter.
  15. Need Help XR640 Service manual

    Here is the posting.

I print 030 magnet material all the time,, just went through 30 rolls in four months.. If you need Only three, get the material and apply vinyl onto it then hand cut. If you need 25 of each I can do.
  19. Fc9000. What brand Vinyl does everyone use to produce clean perf-cuts ?

I'm using flexi 21 with the 9000, it has some hiccups. I now make the barcode large on the roll setting and make sure the right side pinch roller does not touch the black bar portion of the barcode.
  20. Fc9000. What brand Vinyl does everyone use to produce clean perf-cuts ?

I run five graftec 8600-130, one 8600-160 and a 9000-140 and only do straight through and kiss cuts all in the channel not on the strip. So there is no need to stop the cutting and change the blade position to do different style cuts on the same job. Every style/brand, laminated or not...
