Here is my setup for reference - you need to look at the devices in GQ manager ( spooler) send a cut or prit job ( or open up GQ manager in the program file) and you can view your devices. ( I have my envision on COM 6 - which happens to be generic USB-serial adaptor.

How much detail do you anticipate for your decals? Ask the dealer to print samples of the same art file on each printer. One printer prints smaller details better than the other

Smart Idea- wish I would have thought of it for the crafters--- I bet they get bought- out by cricut. but looks like you need a coating to engrave metals - perhaps due to the low power.

I have the same cutter, and Omega 6.5 Do you have the serial cable that came with the plotter and a serial connection on your computer? If you run thru the serial port, that may isolate the issue. ( you can also use USB-serial adaptor reference above by Netsol
