That's good to hear. It is a smaller job and I was hoping something would work that I can buy by the yard. I'll see if I have any around to do a test print.

I agree with StreamlineDesign. I have also found when installing correctly layered decals using the dry method that a good felt covered wrap squeegee does a good job of keep the bubbles at a minimum. It's really all in the technique and tools. John
I have the Roland pdf for the limit initialization and cable replacement. PM me your email and I will send them to you. If you use an aftermarket encoder strip you may have to cut it size to fit. John
The encoder strip is the culprit most times. Try to clean it and see if that helps. On my SP540V I had disconnect and scan motor errors and so I replaced them both. Again, cleaning it may work. Are you getting any other errors? John
I know of someone on a facebook forum that has successfully purchased and installed the print heads from Signinchina. He also told me to offer them less then asking price and they will deal with you on price. I'm planning on trying one for my SP540V when the black head gets a little worse. John
