Out of curiosity, what vinyl and laminate combo were you using before and having failures with? I would think any cast wrap vinyl would last 4-5 years if the vehicle is cleaned regularly and garaged. If not garaged and in a Georgia climate, then perhaps 4-5 years is a lot to expect. That being...
I typically would apply clear acrylic with a roller or brush so it lays on really thick, but yeah, I think either would work okay, as a 2 mil laminate is going to be very difficult to peel up.
For what your non-regulatory needs are, I'd say Oracal 751 is just fine and for a laminate, I would apply a clear acrylic over the top, such as One-Shot.
Thanks for that little bit of info. I had no idea there is an air release version available. We have considered switching to 3M reflective just for that reason, but prefer to use Oralite.
If you look on their Facebook page, they have some large scale banners and based on those pics, the font you're looking for would be Souvenir or Jasmine UPC.
Am I the only one that can see that the terminals on the L, C and E are clearly angular and not square? If Serpentine Sans works out, that's great, but something is off about this.
The font looks like Serpentine Bold, but the serifs don't look very distinct, if they are even there at all on some letters. For example, the letter P doesn't appear to have any serifs.. I thought it could be Serpentine sans, but the terminals on the letters such as the letter C and E appear to...
Not everybody is a full service commercial sign shop. We don't do electrical signs and we don't do installation. We simply make non-electrical signage for retail to the end user and what they do with them is up to them. For us, a magnetic sign order is just as good as any other order.

This is our current pricing for a pair of 24" x 12" also. Full color cast vinyl print with laminate applied to .030" mag. We do offer free design as part of that pricing as long as there is no custom artwork involved in the design.
