  1. Font Help

Looks like Bronx. OPTIBrinX, or URWBrownJoi that has been slightly modified by removing extraneous tail strokes.
  2. How to build a $1,000,000 Sign Shop

Says the guy who calls someone else out for a so-called 'stupid comment'. Not everyone wants the headache of a $5million business, trust me. To say that everyone who doesn't fit that bill is simply incapable is ridiculous, pretentious, and arrogant. I'll bet you're a blast at parties.
  3. Need Help What vinyl to use on auto glass

Out of curiosity, what vinyl and laminate combo were you using before and having failures with? I would think any cast wrap vinyl would last 4-5 years if the vehicle is cleaned regularly and garaged. If not garaged and in a Georgia climate, then perhaps 4-5 years is a lot to expect. That being...

  5. Reflective Road Signs

I typically would apply clear acrylic with a roller or brush so it lays on really thick, but yeah, I think either would work okay, as a 2 mil laminate is going to be very difficult to peel up.
  6. Reflective Road Signs

For what your non-regulatory needs are, I'd say Oracal 751 is just fine and for a laminate, I would apply a clear acrylic over the top, such as One-Shot.
  7. Font ID plz

Assuming the top of the letter t got chopped off, I'd say the font you're looking for is Average Sans.
  8. Oralite 5600 Reflective Vinyl - Has anybody ever tried wet applying?

Thanks for that little bit of info. I had no idea there is an air release version available. We have considered switching to 3M reflective just for that reason, but prefer to use Oralite.
  9. Font HelpIdentity

If you look on their Facebook page, they have some large scale banners and based on those pics, the font you're looking for would be Souvenir or Jasmine UPC.
  10. Need Help Not in my font folder and WTF could not help

Am I the only one that can see that the terminals on the L, C and E are clearly angular and not square? If Serpentine Sans works out, that's great, but something is off about this.
  11. Need Help Not in my font folder and WTF could not help

The font looks like Serpentine Bold, but the serifs don't look very distinct, if they are even there at all on some letters. For example, the letter P doesn't appear to have any serifs.. I thought it could be Serpentine sans, but the terminals on the letters such as the letter C and E appear to...
  12. Anyone use a Font Manager Software? Suggestions

For CorelDraw, I use the included Font Navigator software. It's super handy at replacing missing fonts and for installing/uninstalling fonts.

  16. Printing On Optically Clear Laminate - Roland VP 540

I've printed on Oraguard 290 cast and it prints superb.
  17. How do you structure your pricing for vehicle magnets?

Not everybody is a full service commercial sign shop. We don't do electrical signs and we don't do installation. We simply make non-electrical signage for retail to the end user and what they do with them is up to them. For us, a magnetic sign order is just as good as any other order. We do...
  18. How do you structure your pricing for vehicle magnets?

This is our current pricing for a pair of 24" x 12" also. Full color cast vinyl print with laminate applied to .030" mag. We do offer free design as part of that pricing as long as there is no custom artwork involved in the design.
