  1. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

I have about a dozen super magnets, a mix of Avery and Image One Impact, plus a few extra cheapie rectangular mags that we get free at trade shows. The cheapie ones scare me on paint, but I wrap the bottom side with masking tape and they do okay. I always use magnets when possible. The...
  2. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

I'll post heat and use IJ180 but I'll also work into each recess as I go. That's why I say it's a little out of my comfort zone. It will require printing and cutting the stripe/star into manageable sections and a bit of laying everything out and measuring before laying the first piece down but...

  5. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

So contrary to what I initially thought, I'm assuming a wrap job of this size could be every bit as time-consuming to install as a piece by piece print and cut decal install.
  6. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

I'm just curious, for the time and cost involved in the extra cutting, weeding, taping, and applying everything in sections, whether or not a wrap would possibly be more a more economical and better solution for them at this point. They keep adding elements to the layout that will make it that...
  7. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

I know how I need to price it and I've done similar installs on their previous vans, just not quite as extensive and those vans didn't have side doors, only back doors. I just don't like working too much outside my comfort zone because we're already busy as all h**l and can barely keep up with...
  8. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

Yeah, if we do these, we'll end up subbing it out to Signs365 just because of the overall size of the decals, and the need for precision contour cutting that our Mimaki CJV series printer isn't capable of doing and our Roland cutter is only 24". I'd never try to overlay something like this...
  9. Discussion Where does one draw the line between graphics and a wrap?

We've got a regular customer, which is a small local cable company, that wants us to do some new print and cut graphics on a couple of new vans. Well, they wanted partial wraps at first and I just threw together a rough wrap concept design (the design with the full-color family image) and gave...
  10. alternative

We've been using Glass APeel (formerly Glass AdHere) for temporary window signs, as well as magnetic sign replacement and it works very well. It's at a price point people can easily afford, so even if they trash them, they are cheap to replace. It's very thick and rigid, so it doesn't stretch...

  14. Question Signs365 fabric banners. Impressions?

We typically use Showdown (Creative Banner) but their size options are limited. We've also used Indy Imaging and still reluctantly do on rare occasions for specific products that we can't get elsewhere. Our experience with Indy in general over the years has been anything but great, honestly.
  15. Question Signs365 fabric banners. Impressions?

Thank you for your reply. Will I have any issues with edges curling inward or anything I might want to be aware of?
  16. Question Signs365 fabric banners. Impressions?

I've got a customer that is looking for some fabric banners for trade shows/conventions. I know Signs 365 has this option and we've ordered a fabric banner once in the past, but it was a few years ago and it was pretty basic with sewing, but no grommets or pole pockets. This customer is most...
  17. Looking for a Bevel Font

Now that you mention it, the Mr. Chisel font does appear to be bolder than the OP's example. Otherwise, the bevels look exactly the same, just reversed. It's hard to tell from the crappy little samples they show on the website.
  18. Critique requested

Thank you, Bill. I just wanted to illustrate that it could be done and it would still read well.
  19. Looking for a Bevel Font

https://mr-clipart.com/eu/anzeigen_font.php?art_id=1&seite=1&Anzahl=16 Second font down. It's a beveled version of Clarendon Extra Bold.
  20. Critique requested

The all caps lettering would look better if it had a bit more weight added to it, in my opinion.
