And do you see ANY reason at all to go with a configuration that includes both metallic AND white? White i've heard bad things about in the past, and I also don't have many requests for things that require white....everyone I've talked to in the past that has a white option has hated it.

Just curious how many of you guys have Roland printers with metallic ink in the configuration, and if you do, how often do you REALLY use it? We have had only a very very few number of requests on metallic stickers in the past 10 years, but I'm always looking for a way to one-up the other...

On our daige I usually crank them all the way down as tight as they will go, and back them off 3/4 of a turn. Might be too tight? Might not be....but i've messed one print up in six years.

We do quite a few smaller orders of 10-25 pieces of corex, both single and double sided, always printed full color. We have a sub-contracted printer here locally using a UV flatbed, but are on the search for another option as well. Anyone here have the capability of printing direct to corex...

As said above, we create our vector files with just a white fill and normal contour cut swatch and then just "cut only" without printing. Our printer is wider than our plotter so it gets us by!

Bring the blade out the thickness of a credit card. I'm with everyone else, something isn't right. even a broken off blade wouldn't require 400? I didn't know they'd even go that high. We're 65-75 on regular vinyl. 120-135 on print+lam

Create the file in illustrator...corel handles gradients real weird in my experience. Done. :)

But why are we troubleshooting if there hasn't even been a test print? It might print fine.

And Versaworks doesn't just work with any Roland printer. Chances are that he needs colorrip. exampe: SP-300 is Colorrip, SP-300V is Versaworks. Unless hacked, the SP-300 won't work with versaworks.

have u tried actually printing it, regardless of what versaworks looks like? The color representation in Versaworks is 99% incorrect, everytime.

Would love to know where there's a download link on roland's site for versaworks.... People on this forum have diarrhea of the mouth sometimes I swear....
