He got the 1612, I have the same one. So ~64" wide by 47" deep. When cutting stuff longer than the bed, it is surprising accurate when feeding and continuing to finish the cut!

I love my Summa F! Has done everything I needed it to and then some. Being a one man shop, speed hasn't been an issue as I hit cut and go do something else.
I think it uses the cleaning station to wipe everything down. I am pretty sure it will NOT work any of the inks are low though.
I swear I had a bad batch of cyan once. Had the same issue of banding only in my blues. Once I changed out the cartridge it went away.
I haven't had any issues over the last couple years I have been using it. I use the 2mil V750 laminate from Hexis, which is their high end calendared version. Cast should have have a longer life just based of what it is, but I haven't had any issues.
Komacel has an outdoor rated one that they say is a replacement for wood. Probably costs 3x as much as a sheet of MDO too. Not knocking it, just what I have seen with other "outdoor" 19mm PVC.
