Yes I do. email me at adam@superiorsigns.biz or call me at 316-263-4264. I have 2 brand new and one that was used for a while but replaced because they thought it was bad but I found a leak in the coolant line after I installed the new pump.
I would guess you don't have a vacuum bed? The Seklema mat is very sticky and I would probably not use paper on it but have never tried. We use them on some of our rotary engravers and when clean small brass plates are stuck down good.
we print pucks all the time. They will not last in a game/practice being printed on a UV printer. They are promotional style items. Even when the game pucks are screened they don't last. You have to remember depending on the level of play that the puck could be traveling at 80+ mph hitting...
We are lucky and have 7 UV printers in house. We print on the back side of acrylic and then do the raised letters/braille after. We are able to print 4x8 sheets and route them out quickly.
You would need an engraving machine to drill the holes for the Raster Braille beads, the Raster tools from Accent Signage and a laser engraver to cut the words and images out. A lot more equipment but we can manufacture signs a lot faster than printing. As far as engravers we use a Xenetech...
if your doing low quantities UV printing may be ok but woudl be awfully slow to build it up enough to conform to ADA guidelines. We laser cut and use the raster braille dots on all of ours. A lot cleaner look.
If you follow the video above you will be fine. I have a different video but steps will be the same. I also put a clamp above the sub tank for extra safety.
you can also soak the head before doing cleanings. I fill the cap station with fluid and move the carriage back over to where the head will be soaking in cleaning solution for a while before running a cleaning.
4 heads vs 6 heads. each has different ink sets so that could be a factor. PDS equipment is very good with these printers. I would call and talk to them on the differences. We have been running the original 6042 since they first came our 6-7 years ago. Solid machine. I am not sure about...
We ran a Mimaki JFX-200 for about 4 years. We only switched to EFI as we needed more speed. The Mimaki is a great machine. We only had 1 tech visit in 4 years.
I would double check all connections and make sure all alignments are done properly. The problem with installing your own head is that you will have very little to stand on if the head is indeed defective as they will say it was user error no matter what and most likely offer zero refund on it.
I would set up your own profile if possible. Not sure if the 365 allows that like the 560/570. Every material we print on is on our profile to get the best quality. Those lines look like a heat issue to me
Yes the two tools could technically do the same as the other. A drag knife won’t kiss cut a well you just need to play with it and make sure the depth only goes through the vinyl not the backer. Kiss cut tools will cut better detail than a drag and could be set with enough pressure to go...
Well makes you wonder why they need a kick starter for a revamped model. Must not have made money on the original to revamp the design and come out with a new version.
I can vouch that this material he has is good stuff. I bought 5 rolls and have printed 4 of them. Customers are very happy and it prints/cuts very good.
