I'd be interested but only as part time. I do design all day long and have a second night job totally unrelated to design and I hate it. It's only 2-4 hrs a night but it's the most physical job I've ever had. And the pressure to "go faster" is insane!

In Corel very rarely does anyone import/place a native cdr file. Always open it. As for an eps or pdf it's imported/placed without any color correcting. You can "link" an an image as opposed to straight import but I never do that. Importing a raster image also does not alter the colors. It may...
I used to use a combination of all 4 colors (C45 M45 Y45 K100) to produce a "rich" black. I've found that R0 G0 B0 produces an even "richer" black than that though.
have you tried remapping the network link?
From your own Mac navigate thru the network and find the "hot' folder or shared folder on the Flexi workstation.
Drag the link to File Explorer favorites(or whatever Mac calls it).

Stretching text has its place but it's not commonly recommended. A simple For Sale sign, "blowout", or %OFF for instance.
ps... ever have someone show a picture of a logo that has been stretched and they think it's ok. Drives me nuts!

We export raster images as tif's @ no more than 150dpi using LZW compression. Virtually no difference in quality but a quarter the file size. Yes, as stated we drop into a hot folder and let our print tech arrange for best fit on media etc.
