Aliexpress is the easiest... ALibaba is the cheapest.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32814409287.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.21ef1802qxnYFI About $150 for 200 pieces. If you Message the seller and say you want like 500... Price would probably be $200-250. A lot of the cost is in shipping...

Depending on the paint you'll likely have issues. People paint a wall then expect you to be in within a few days to vinyl it - Paint tends to "Offgass" and cure for a long time - Latex based paints say 30 days, oil based is usually 7-14 days. Can you install vinyl before the time is up...
So are you printing at exactly 48 x 96 and expecting to get no white?
Most panels are slightly wider or longer than 48 x 96... And a lot of times not perfectly square.
I would start adding a 1/8" White all around the image if possible...then just put on your vinyl, use a straight edge and...
It's likely your main board. I had a tech out a new head in for me and had the same issues... Everything checked out according to the guide, but they put a new main board in and it fixed it. I don't know why replacing the print head can fry the main board so easy, but it seems to be pretty...
Charge your hourly rate + A bit more for machine wear and tear.
Does he realize you'll probably waste a ft (4.5 SQFT) Everytime you load his roll? Depending on what material he uses that could add up.
5 mins to load the lam, 5 mins to unload it... 5 mins prep work / webbing... Then however...
China has always been a liar about Covid. Back when Wuhan started they claimed there was under 100 cases.... Yet all the photos released showed thousands of people getting cremated.... there were thousands of posts / confirmed cases of people who had their family in the hospital, or confirmed...
Depends on what your clients are doing with them.
The main reason I laminate is to make the material thicker. It also adds abrasive resistance as well as chemical resistance. I'm sure the UV gel would last a few years, but not laminating does produce an inferior product.
Print a sticker...
I believe he wants to print on the back of the paper, something like his company logo.
Do you guys actually use seven layer a lot? I finally got around to playing with our latex, a customer wanted 20 double-sided decals roughly 8.5 by 11 in. Figured out how to do them loaded it up hit print...
You'd think... We've tried a bunch with our latex and the ink just wipes off. It's a weirdly coated paper :(
Our solvent doesn't do double sided but when we tried to print on the back it worked the best. UV also works, but can run off if you don't let it cure for a day or two... And we were...
I guess that depends on viewing distance. Most of the stuff we overlap is big, so you're not going to be up close enough to see it either way.
But wouldn't you see a 1" bump just as well, if not easier than a 1/4" bump if you were close enough to notice it?
We usually butt seam if it's in a...
Doesn't matter if it was a gravel road or if his toddler three a rock at it. It Sucks.. but it sucks for him, not you.
You think a dealer with fix a scratch on a new vehicle that wasn't their fault?
Warranties protect against defects of material and workmanship. If it's failing because...
Your brain sees a vertical seam a lot easier than a horizontal seam - but if your seaming along a color break that goes vertical or something there's nothing wrong with that.
We usually do a .25" seam and place it wherever there's no texts or alignments. On wraps where were hand applying the...
If they're using non laminated ij35, they must not be too picky. I doubt they'd mind 30" panels! There's likely be very minimal joins with vertical panels as well on a race car... I doubt they're wrapping bumpers and stuff with this. But that was mainly to point out just because a file is...

Under onyx considerations... It says print cut workflow doesn't work. Maybe it's just for sandwich mode now that I re read it, so maybe that doesn't help you!
Get some 90% alcohol... Or methanol, just be careful with the methanol.
Spray a ton on your belt... And cover it in plastic / coroplast so it doesn't evaporate. Come back in 30 mins and start scraping - methanol will turn it to a sludge that just wipes off... Alcohol will be a little more...
I'm guessing it was setup to fit a 60" roll with no waste and he uses a 54... Or it was setup for a 54 and he only has a 30.. in which case you have to reconfigure it.
Or it's all setup in one big 10 ft x 30" print and tiling it to the door size will waste less material.
Sometimes it's not...
I was reading the HP 700 spec sheet, it went over the pros and cons of Onyx versus Flexi. Apparently one of the cons of onyx is that if you have a white spot Channel print and cut does not work... No idea why that makes sense and I've never tested it but it seems weird.
I do have a printing cut...
https://magnummagnetics.com/musclemag-digital/ There is muscle mag thats 75 LB SQFt. 150% Stronger than their regular magnet... might work?
Search your vendors for high energy magnetic - Theres a local seller here who supposedly (Never heard or tried them) sells 144LB SQFT Magnetic... but...
Even if you could... Trust me, you never would.
Ask your installers how they feel about doing a vehicle wrap on vinyl with no overlam. It'll stretch so much and be so distorted... The time and money you save on overlam would be wasted on install time and reprints. Cast wrap vinyl is way too...
