All depends on materials going through the machine and usage. We can go through 1 a week to 1 every couple of months its hard to put a life expectancy on them. We use eBay blades from china and haven't had any issues.

Been running ours since 2005. Great work horse. If you stay up with the maintenance and run a clean shop and our on top of your profiles we very rarely ever run into banding or print issues. We love our JV3
