If your not comfortable with painting why not have a local autobody shop paint it for you? We do lots of work for our local autobody shops and if we need them to paint something we just bring a swatch book that the customr approved color on and they match it up. Usually the cost is minimal...
We have used Creative Banner or Orbus for table cloths and I usually tell the customer to google silicone bracelets and order them on their own. Not really a huge markup and their are so many places they can order from....not worth my time to order.
So i got the worst call the other night at dinner. Our shop is in a complex of 4 buildings each building consisting of 2 units and the unit directly next to mine had a vehicle fire inside. Luckily the fire dept responded within 7 mins of the first call but by the time they entered the car was...
Received a call from Grimco today informing us that Mimaki will no longer be producing parts for the JV3 after October 2014. Is this a push to upgrade or is it the truth? Will people be stock piling OEM parts or will everyone just use third party? I love my JV3 its 8 years old and keeps on...
quick fix to try.
1. Power off machine.
2. remove back cover allowing access to pumps.
3. Remove black ink line from wast botlle.
4. Using a syringe or other means draw ink through line.
5. Replace ink line in waste bottle and try running a test.
I noticed that over time my ink lines have...
I have not used it but would suggest against it. Never a fan of wrapping trailers with premask. We had this issue last summer with a fleet of trailers. My suggesstion is to install in the early day time before the heat gets to hot and stay away from direct sunlight and then finish up on the...
Reminds me of the time I had my first install of a full wrap inside my first tiny install bay.....We had about 3ft to work on one side of the van....long story short pulled the van out after first side was done to turn the van around and it was about 4" out of level.....Ford...
Has this computer been with this machine before? After speaking with a few Mimaki Techs from my understanding the actual firewire board in the computer can cause this problem. I changed computers in the past and ran into this same problem. I guess Texas Instruments is the board that is...
Just installed some vinyl from camowraps as customer requested vinyl by spec. filled out a quick form and got their dealer pricing. Not bad its all 3M1080 with matte Lamination. Not my preference for pattern but the customer loved it. Easy Peasy order and install. Nothing like making money...
seems like an awful lot more labor installing wet versus a matte finish wrap vinyl. Also what happens when material has to be heated to fit compound curves? Will it gloss up or discolor? Not to mention any tiny piece of debris will be visible. No Thank you. I'm sure there are people will...
Just for giggles try pulling the power cord on the plotter and let sit for a minute and plug back in. Sometimes they get a mind of their own. I run my Mimaki CG-130FX Plotter at an offset of.3 Best of Luck
Great Job. I see Plasti Dip Has made it across the pond. That stuff is great for wheels and what not. We have actually used the white to do the door jams on a black car we wrapped matte white that made a huge difference in detail.
Great Job
I use my take-up everyday. During our busy times we sometimes run multiple full rolls through our laminator. Other times we run lots of short runs each day. It all depends on your workflow. But trust me when the day comes and you have multiple runs 30 plus feet long you will wish you had a...
