  2. Script font ID please

If you could help me with this one , it would be much appreciated. Also, notice that the graduated coloring in the font is light at the bottom then getting a darker gold then fading to white at the top (inside the text). I use Corel X3 for most stuff like this. I'm thinking I would..oh...

  4. Flyers

I usually outsource... Get a deposit for the design. I then find a nearby printer, mark it up a bit. Often they will find a cheaper printer than what I quote, but at least I get my $ for the design work. Cheers! Ken
  5. Huge corrugated plastic sign-need help with quote

If it is Coroplast... I would insisit on the 10mm sheets. Allow for expansion/contraction. In otherwords, don't fasten down tightly to the wall/wood backing. try to not have any of the vinyl span the seams. It will warp/buckle in the sun and cold. When using coro I only use intermediate ie...
  6. I thought it was Times NR..but a closer look??

HI. I will immediately thank anybody who can help here... Both words here seem to be modified stretching in some way. It is the "R" in roofing as well as the "o's". I realize the kerning has been "tampered" with in "Integrity". I am seeing a slab serif here and there(TNR has tapered serifs)...

  11. Anyone seen this

There is a rope font..if you really want me to find it..it could take some time..then you could convert to curves and bend it as you wish. I would go that way. Find a free rope font..and tie some knots. Cheers! Ken
  12. A Grommet question...? I can't believe it!

Shoot..I'm looking for a method/supplier to place grommets on 10 mm Coroplast. I Usually use the grommets on banners or the thin coroplast. You know, my normal suppliers are not able to help me. "Yes.. it's been on back-order for 53 days..." I'm in a bit of a bind as someone has dropped a...
  13. Dogs Anyone?

Border Collie is ( apparently) the smartest dog. I have never owned ..er..cared for one..but I have seen some of those dogs exhibit exceptional intelligence. 16. Plotting order - need help

Sorry, not familiar to Summa equipment or the rip. On my Graphtec there is an option to " reduce media travel"..or something like that. But, it doesn't always work. I mean if you ask the plotter to cut an outline around the finished job, then it just goes ahead and does whatever it wants to...

  19. why can't business cards be glossy

Techman, why is that? Oh, many years ago, in an unrelated business, we had a Japanese delegation in my town. And I actually sent them home with some product. Which was cool.. They did have a front man who spoke english and he did advise us of some of the etiquette. For instance, my product at...
