  1. Fully Vaccinated? Drop the mask!

No need to sweat it, we are all going in the same direction. Might as well enjoy the time we have left.
  2. Oy vey..................................................

Change is hard on the elderly. I do feel more isolated from the immediate data we had with the old layout. I am sure it is still here someplace, I just can't find it (like my keys).
  3. Have you seen plywood lately???

The whole salt issue is too complex for me to understand. On one hand cost for a metric ton of salt has increased by around 58%. On the other hand, the feds are attempting to change things by removing the SALT cap, but the benefits don't look like they will help the average salt using joe...
  4. Have you seen plywood lately???

Are we commenting on the cost of the wood or the quality of the price tag? Looks like a photocopy to me. A lot of Home Depot's add-on/specials signs here seem to be made in their DIY craft center.
  5. Masking tape

Ij35 and 40 scraps cut into strips make pretty good tape for installing graphics. It's waterproof and comes off clean unless you leave it there over the summer. Not as convenient as a roll of masking tape but you can pitch it to your recycling eco-friendly clients.
  6. The hail is bigger in Texas too....

The person holding it must be humungous! "The huge 6 foot hail stone fell in Hondo, Texas during a storm last month.(National Weather Service)"

  8. Married too young???

It probably involves a lot of 0's to the left of the decimal point.
  9. Married too young???

  10. Some people don't need a plotter: Paper Engineer

Attention to detail is at a savant level. If you don't have time look at just the motor building part - starts about 11 minutes in
  11. Decal Application Instructions for Customers

    1. Clean the surface of dirt/debris. 2. Apply above x temperature 3. Sticky side down (Fred's advice here on S101). 4. Tear, peel & drop it in the dirt, wet the backer before removing, get the glue side stuck to the glue side, or put it on crooked - we'll sell you a new one.
  12. Understanding Pizza

Feet and Pizza are not an appetizing word association for me. I must be out of their target demographic.
  13. Question Will this work?

I wish Mutoh had a "continue printing" prompt. Once in a while, I'll get a false "end of roll" error that cancels a job that could have made it to the end or allowed me to add a little trailing material to keep it under the pinch rollers long enough to finish. The Graphtec does it.
  14. Question Will this work?

Not sure it would work well on reflective but I have come up short (insert joke here) on a few prints and was able to change the registration marks from 4 down to the 2 that did print and run it that way, using Graphtech's cutting master. Was able to save everything except the last row more than...
  15. I didn't know I needed a certification

Why so harsh? Did you try out for your grade school Hall Monitor / Crossing Guard Corps and not make the cut? Childhood trauma can stay with you for a long long time.
  16. Suggestions Wrapping Flat Trailers & Box trucks

Sell them the better material if the customer wants it to last forever (they always think it should). Less problems for you and a better result for them.
  17. I didn't know I needed a certification

If I was still single and at least a 1/4 century younger this would be a good pick-up line. "Why yes, I am a Department of Transportation Certified Flagger. I am also currently working on my Masters in 'Optimal Traffic Cone Placement for Maximum Traffic Flow Obstruction' as we speak."
  18. I didn't know I needed a certification

Not sure why this is showing up in my browsing but I have seen it a few times now and the exciting world of Flagger-ing seems tempting.
  19. The Vaccine - you going to take it or no?

I am not. Any virus activity in Florida will have to swim a few thousand miles to get me here on Guam.
