Depends what your doing some of the harbor freight guns aren't bad. Devilbiss, Binks are good ones. A pancake compressor isn't going to flow enough air, check the guns for cfm at the psi you need for the gun. You will be surprised how big of a compressor you will need.

Bondo is a bad idea I can't imagine it would stick too well, use one of the solid core materials and save yourself the time and grief.

You don't need to back up a wall mounted sign that size and thickness. If you want to use studs drill oversize holes in the hdu and use epoxy to hold the studs in.

Pretty much like the wiki says not much sticks to polyethylene. For painting, gluing and applying vinyl you can heat treat the material with a torch, just a few quick passes is supposed to help adhesion. Not sure if that would help with what you are doing or not.

Let a body shop do the painting. If your not sure what kind of paint to use your in over your head.

Your asking the forum what your artwork represents? How did you price it if you don't know how it was going to be constructed or painted?

The first one you make shouldn't be for a customer practice on your own stuff first. Just because they are more expensive doesn't mean that they are higher margin. They take alot more time, knowledge and equipment to do them right.

For as long as I can remember you could only get fountains, sparklers and that kind of stuff. Nothing that shoots(bottle rockets, roman candles, mortars .etc) or blows up (firecrackers, m80s .etc). Gino a Keystone fireworks opened up along rt 30 in Lancaster recently. According to their sign and web site they have the good stuff, but I'm not sure how since that stuff isnt legal. I have not been in it yet. It's up the street from the Rockvale outlets.

We tried the reflective rustoleum, don't waste your money. Glass beads are what they use on the street markings. The beads come in different sizes from about a powder size on up. They needs to be put on top of the wet paint. Kind of like doing smalts.

Go to control panel, system and security, windows update. That's for windows 7 other versions should be similar.

Use a straight router bit 1/8" 1/4" whatever fits your project. I don't think there is any way to do a clean out and not get machining marks. Some bits may be better than others but nothing is going to leave it perfectly smooth.

We are looking for a supplier that does enclosed changeable letter cabinets. 30"x60" two sided not lighted. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
