    I like the onyx profiler and the swatch book color replacement-functionality. And if there is some software to trade in, it isn´t very expensive at all. With the non-dongle Rasterlinks, you only need to send in the activation code, you can continue using the software.

    @ White Haus: One problem too is that a lot of sales persons know the printers, but have no idea about the advantages of third party software. They don´t even offer alternatives.

    @ White Haus: I´m not a fan of rasterlink because of it works really slow, I do not like the user interface, and Rasterlink 7 specially is buggy. But most specially industrial customers with the small flatbeds don´t need special functionality, they just want to send data over a few presets.

    A lot of people do. Sometimes when I´m with customers, I would have some ideas with third party software for them too, but most use Rasterlink.

    There is no Affinity Plugin for Summa GoSign. There are Plugins for Coreldraw, Illustrator or Inkscape only. But of course it is no problem to save files out of affinity which can be processed with GoSign.

    You mean SC500? This machine is really old, was stopped reselling more than 20 years ago. Some parts, also consumables like cap tops, are not available anymore. And have a parallel port only, which is not supported by current PC´s anymore. For my opinion, I would not spend time and money on it.

    We as Mimaki dealers in germany resell MPM3, train customers and do profiling for customers too. Because MPM3 is a little bit expensive, it is not sold very often.
