The bitmap image you posted is not a candidate for printing pure primaries/inkjet black. To limit having to use heavy ink restrictions in the media preset it would be best to regenerate the GCR in your output profile to minimize the use of CMY in the dark areas. That could be consider ink...
I know all about Rich Black, use it all the time on all kind of devices, but it just does not produce the best black with latex ink. 100% output K only of the HP latex ink printers do not need ink restrictions.
So why can you not answer a simple question instead of going around and around about...
I am not sure what you mean by this question? Please clarify.
Latex ink is a different than most other inks. Too much and the output becomes milking looking. I have tested adding various output percentages of CMY to 100% output K and have not found any combination to give a better black than...
100% K only should not have a drying problem unless your heat or curing time is too low. Or, are you adding CMY to your black for some reason which would give you a milky black anyhow and not look as rich a 100% K only.
Does the black (which is 100% K only) on your calibration target cure okay?
First off it will not affect your output profiles at all. It is only a media preset setting.
Where I find it most usefully is when printing in CMYKcm mode with passes set less that 12, if a lot of the lc/lm ink are being laid down raising it will help prevent ink starvation, since there is only...
That is what I thought, but a lot of confusing information gets put out about these printers.
More confusion, don't you mean attaches an ICC profile to your new preset? Not what is happening in the printer but happens when a new preset/mode in imported into the RIP. Uses the generic output...
I have the 360 and I thought it was the only one of the 300 series that had it. Anyway the onboard output profile creation is not that great because you have no control over the GCR. But it is good enough to get by in most cases except in more critical color requirements. And some media...
Just make sure the RIP you get has the profiling package with it. And make sure that it can use the colormunki.
Now if your X-rite colormunki photo can create CMYK output profiles (which I don't think it can) you could print targets (CMYK with Color Management turned off) creating a CMYK...
Not sure if it is the added moisture for the optimizer or the location of the curing modules but paper can be a struggle with the 300 series. I would try a really low (8 or lower) optimizer setting and and maybe 90 or 80 ink density with 12pass in your preset, then depending how critical the...
Why would you try to run rich black with latex. In all my testing the richest black was 100% pure inkjet black. Examine the 100% black of the calibration target, has anyone figured out how get black any richer.
As for roll up banner media my clients just love Bantex 10oz. Black Backed No Curl.
Can you call Mustech and ask them what they recommend for cleaning rollers. I hate to say what to use to clean them in case it causes problems with the rubber on your rollers.
If your not printing PSA then apply mounting adhesive like General Formulations 107 to the foam board. Alternately you could roll to roll laminate the mounting adhesive to the poster stock.
Select "Save emails as drafts in email program" and then you can confirm that they are ready to send and hit send in your email program or check your sent email to confirm that they have been sent.
Did you do an upgrade to High Sierra or a clean install? If you did an upgrade I would do a clean install on another partition and see if you have these problems. I have one clean install of HS on a laptop and I don't see these problems.
