Sounds like your pinch rollers are not applying equal pressure or they are slipping. Try cleaning them with alcohol first then refer to the manual for adjusting. Same thing happened on both my Graphtec cutters

I do the same thing on my Seiko W64 right down to two inches of the end of the roll so that my Graftec cutter will cut the entire roll.

On our Seiko W-64, we have Neon Pink and Neon Yellow ink. To get the Neon Orange Color we overprint the two colors then we bump up the Vividness and Saturation if we want it darker. The Neon colors don't last long for outdoor use even when laminated.

Roland just discontinued the XR-640. Great Printer just a little slow.

If your cut files are deleting after sent to cutter you need to go to Production Manager. Click on setup at top left of screen then Setup Properties. When Setup Properties open click on the drop down box and select HOLD then Apply then OK. This will keep your cut file from deleting itself.

We ran flexi to our Mutoh printer and Kona cutters with no problems. The Konas became a problem so we replaced them.
