I'm trying to print and cut 1000 fridge magnets, the problem I'm facing is if I print too many at once the cutting becomes off target, so I've tried using the customCut feature, which works well except I'm getting approx 85mm gap between jobs, this is really annoying as the magnetic media is not...

i wouldn't worry too much, just give them a fair price, if you're smaller than the other place i'm sure your overheads would be much less... so your quote is probably already going to be much cheaper. Spend less time worrying and more time working on your next customer quote imo :)

I find VMware fusion a little slow, perhaps i need to be running a MAC Pro, but you can always use bootcamp and load up windows from a restart if you know you want to use Versaworks/cad software? or whatever app you're talking about.. computers are so cheap these days, i just have an older PC...

why don't you do a wrap course? then you don't have to pay for the material you're playing with, and you'll learn how to do it the right way.. instead of guessing..

if using the right material, it shouldn't be too hard, i think he is trying to keep it as tight to the shape of the oil drum as possible, whats the graphic going onto the drum? if it's just a basic logo, could you paint the background color first?.
