I have 5 sheets sitting here. We are also surrounded by fabricators for NASCAR, so if needed, I can get ultrathin sheets of steel and make my own. Works pretty good.
PVC is a better way to go.
For better way to go, there is a composite panel with steel face instead of aluminum and then prices could be done with magnets
The major difference is the quality of the tubes used to make the frame. A $400 combo will have less thick and less diameter tubes which when assembled is very flimsy and your graphic will bend the center of the tubes under moderate tension. Spend the extra cash and always get the upgraded tubes...
I think a bit if it has to do with the software anticipating how to maintain the best degree of vacuum on the uncut elements as it goes about cutting the other elements
You can print two-sided on 13 oz with a RTR UV printer.
Duratex makes a two-sided smooth banner material that works with all three ink types. I think it is 15 oz.
If you can find a headlamp that has three color modes for white or red or blue light, you can switch it to blue and the lines show up pretty easily with the ambient white lights turned down
Any flat board material will work with a dry erase laminate on it. Have used foamcore, PVC, Ultra board, styrene, aluminum composite panel to create these.

Soooo, have a client who is a large regional carwash enterprise who wants to have removeable decals for when the equipment is out of order that will be temporary use outdoors, but also want them to not fall off and be reusable on multiple surface types.
Anyone have any ideas?
