My father went to Washburne Trade School as well! I think he went for machining, but he is a jack of all trades! I hear a lot of people who say that school should have stayed open because their isn't any sort of school like it around anymore that teaches the trades.
What is everybody's thoughts on purchasing extended warranties on their HP's? The pricing structure is a little goofy...pay more now for 2 years then when that is up you pay less to extend it for another year, or pay less now for a year then when that is up you pay more to extend it for another...
No, its not a table. It does weight 300 pounds though. I'm going to put it on an adjustable table with casters and move it around my shop wherever I want. Raise it and lower it to whatever feed table I want. When I'm not mounting signs or masking vinyl I can roll into a corner out of the way...
I already have the big work table, so look forward to getting the 60" model of one of these bad boys delivered next week with the additional premask attachment! https://www.highwayhandyman.com/
I'm sorry, forgot to mention...I'm referring to the bad banding in the gray. It might not be very visible in the pic, but WOW in person it's pretty noticeable.
I forgot to mention...these are just temporary. The building is getting demolished in 6 months. The owner don't want the existing graphics on the signs and needs to update with current info til it's demolished. The vinyl is literally baked on them and I can't get it off. Tried heat and MBX vinyl...
I'm interested in refurbishing an old, yellowed lexan pan face sign for a customer. Once it's painted need to apply vinyl graphics on it. The lights for it aren't functional anymore so I'm not worried about it being translucent anymore. What white paint can I use in a gallon that I can just roll...
I have a client we do some vehicle magnets for parade vehicles throughout the colder months. They need to place an order, but asked if we have any magnet material that is "stronger" because the existing magnets have a tough time sticking to cold vehicle body panels. We've mounted prints to...
My next question...seems 3M has several reflective models. What model is for fleet graphics that is going to last for years and is like a controltac that is easy to install for the customer?
That's just an example pic they pulled from the internet. Grimco don't have 6" strips of blue and Fellers don't have 6" of blue. What other suppliers do you recommend having 6" of blue?
Just got a call from a potential customer looking for blue reflective chevron striping for their hazmat trailer. They are going to install themselves. I've never quoted for such a thing yet, so not sure if the blue is available, strips are available, or where to get it from. Any suggestions?
