I like those 'lil chizzler" squeegees instead of picking with your finger nail. Once you get the slice/pull up under the corner of the letter technique down with the lil chizzler it goes pretty fast and smooth. However, if you only have a few letters to pull your finger nail works fine.
Micro brews, Micro brew establishments and Micro brew festivals have been very popular around Chicago and Suburbs for the past 7 years or so and keeps getting more popular. However, food trucks haven't really caught on yet in the suburbs. I'm thinking most villages and towns don't want them...
Living in the Chicagoland suburbs and this being one of the top stories on the news lately...personally, I like it! It's not overdone and complements the building nicely. I think Mayor Rahm needs to spend a little less time worrying about what Donald does with his own building and worry a little...
I'm sorry for your loss! My little buddy Rocky who is a Boston Terrier just turned 7 and is getting some gray hair around his face. It puts things into perspective that he won't be around forever and not looking forward to the day when he goes to doggy heaven.
Called Mimaki tech support and they don't support the CG 130FX and the JV3 printer anymore and they stopped making drivers for both. They said I can try upgrading the firmware on the machines then trying Finecut 8 on the plotter and Rasterlink 5 on the JV3 but he couldn't guarantee it would...
Just got a new Windows 7 computer and trying to get my Mimaki CG-130FX plotter running on it. The computer notices something connected, but it just says "unrecognized device". I went to Mimaki website and think I downloaded the correct updated driver, but I'm not sure because it's not working...
Finally pulled the trigger on one of Casey's Signburst Inferno computers! The Inferno had an IP issue on my network though when getting it up & running and I couldn't figure it out myself. I contacted Casey and he helped me fix it! I am a firm believer of you "get what you pay for" and this is...
I used VCG several years ago for their online store and nobody bought anything from the store! lol When I tried to cancel they wouldn't let me. It took several months of emails and phone calls to finally get them to cancel my account.
The NBM Show in Indy is pretty lackluster nowadays in my opinion. The best show in the Midwest is the Graph Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago. The McCormick Place is absolutely massive allowing manufacturers to demonstrate all the small toys and big toys!:thumb:
Hey guys. I am getting horizontal lines in prints on my JV-3 and was hoping you can help? They seem to happen in four continuous areas throughout a pass and always at the very end of pass when the print spans close to the edge of the roll. Attached are a couple pics for reference. I'm printing...
I'm a little skeptical still on these new tld's...what does everybody else think? Remember when .co was supposed to be a game changer a few years back and nothing changed? The .com's are hard wired in people's brains plain and simple. iPhone's even have a ".com" button! lol Also, when it comes...
Advantage Sign & Graphics Solutions aka Advantage Sign Supply has Oracal. I really wished Grimco would carry it again though! Grimco if you're reading all these posts get Oracal back!!! :thankyou:
That's crazy! The McCormick Place is huge...I mean HUGE! lol All the outdoor "Security" they have are a bunch of idiots! I've experienced them a few times. Then to have enough security to cover all that ground and to be able to recognize when someone is just walking to their vehicle or trying to...
