  1. Anyone going to ISA in Orlando in April?

Wow thanks for your observation. The original post was weeks ago. They just called off the show yesterday.
  2. How do I add a repeat bleed to my image in Flexi 19?

THEN when you RIP it sets the reg marks (summa in my case) and then set quantity. Done.
  3. How do I add a repeat bleed to my image in Flexi 19?

No. Forget about bleed period in Production Manager. You build your bleed in the design. See attached....red circle. Then contour added, red has small bleed.
  4. Need Help acrylic cracking after applying vinyl.

Solvent adhesive likely. Try a water based adhesive vinyl. Which clear did you print on?
  5. Anyone seeing any signs of shortages?

Anyone notice any signs of material shortages yet? I seem to be having a hard time getting some 10mm white coro sheets suddenly. 2 of my usual suppliers are out. I am waiting on a response from a 3rd. I had a feeling we would start to see this, just not this soon. Sucks we rely so much on...
  6. How do I add a repeat bleed to my image in Flexi 19?

You have to add an outline to the image in the same color as what the contour cut is cutting into, in your design space. The bleed function in PM doesn't apply to contour cut images. Many times I simply create my contour cut line, then ungroup it from the image, and just enlarge the image...
  7. Decent Window Perf Vinyl for Latex

I don't understand this thought process. If your price for every "pretty small" job is in line, then doing several of those jobs pays for the roll of material 10-fold. Same as with banner, or any other vinyl. Why is perf any different?
  8. HELP

    Sydney! Thanks!
  9. HELP

Ran it through WTF, no luck.
  10. Best way to present a portfolio

Behance is a great online tool as well.
  11. Need urgent help with my graphtec 8600

So you are moving the blade holder to contour cut? I never had to do that on ours. Are you referring to the perf cut?
  12. Anyone going to ISA in Orlando in April?

KInda what I'm thinking. We are mostly going for our annual corporate convention, the trade show is a side event anyway. So I'll be curious to see how weak it is this year.
  13. A plane on a treadmill - physics question

The plane will not fly. It will fall off the end of the belt. No one said the plane's engines were even on. And correct, the wheels are irrelevant.
  14. Need Help Printing several copies of the same image

I haven't used Onyx in a few years, hopefully an Onyx user will chime in for you. I just assume it will stack them accordingly to fit the media, with whatever gap between them that you specify. That's what Production Manager does. Maybe it has some "conserve media" setting or something? I can't...
  15. HP problem or material... IDK

Using 3M and Clearfocus...this was on Clearfocus. I do oversize on all vehicle perfs, but try to do exact size on storefront stuff, even 1/8" undersize in many cases.
  16. HP problem or material... IDK

You might be on to something. Just checked and the profile for perf has it ON. I will turn it off and run another perf job to see what happens. Seems to me that could throw a wrench in things on perf. Great suggestion.
  17. Need Help Printing several copies of the same image

Just tell your RIP you want 5 copies. This is basic basic printing....unless I am misunderstanding the question.
  18. HP problem or material... IDK

But if this is the case, it is shrinking the film AND the paper liner together? Because after pulling it off the printer, the vinyl isn't shrunk to where there's 1/2" of blank paper on each end, or 1" on one end. This does not compute. It has to have something to do with feed rate, but that is...
  19. HP problem or material... IDK

So I just ran a big job of window perf on our 560. Of course it's one of those "hurry and get it laminated-gotta install in an hour (thanks salesperson)" jobs. Installers call me later to let me know the prints are an inch too short in height. I checked my files, checked the RIP. Nope, all good...
