Sometimes if you are really, really, lucky you can use wide masking tape and apply it to the "left over" adhesive, then remove tape and hopefully the adhesive comes off with the tape. Sometimes (rare) it works, but that would take a sh*t load of masking tape.
I know gas will destroy vinyl... not sure about diesel.
I applied "Diesel" vinyl lettering to an above ground tank at a local gas station over 3 years ago, still looks new, but I don't think the vinyl is subjected to any large amounts of diesel fuel, if any at all.
When going over screws, do any of you use calendered air-egress vinyl or do you only use cast (3m 180, etc)? If calendered vinyl, does it conform around the screws easily?
Well, it looks like I'll start and end this thread... I have Segoe Print installed! Yep! It's one those days... it seems I'm having more and more of "those days" :)
